Fine Lines

When fine lines and wrinkles are just fine!!

When fine lines and wrinkles are just fine!!

Like with deeper set wrinkles, fine lines are again due to the aging process and the loss of volume. As facial tissues thin out fine lines start etching their way in all sorts of areas of the face but particularly in areas around the mouth. The lines on the top lip are a common area for treatment, often referred to as ‘smokers lines’ - unfair to those who have never smoked. These stubborn and pesky lines are common due to this area being so mobile - we talk, laugh, eat and drink daily all of which contribute to line development. Fine lines are annoying and aging but by placing small amounts of appropriate dermal filler superficially under the lines can minimise their appearance and rejuvenate the area. A combination of treatments is a good idea when looking to improve fine lines including but not limited to Sunekos, Profhilo, Exosomes, Microneedling, Mesotherapy and Peels as these help boost collagen to firm and tighten loose skin. Topical serums and skin care can further enhance the appearance of the skin by plumping, hydrating, nourishing, and probably most importantly protecting it.

Price guide: $650 per ml

Before and after photos of a fine line treatment to the upper lip area. You will note the immediate softening of the lines. Care needs to be taken when treating this area as an overfilled top lip area can look odd, and potentially may lengthen the philtrum turning the top lip under adding to the aging process. Dermal filler placed in small deposits or linear threads under the fine lines can counter and correct these pesky deficits.
